Emily Giannini, MS, CCC-SLP
Welcome, I’m Emily!
I am an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist serving clients across Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland. With an undergraduate background from James Madison University and a Master’s from Salus University, I’ve focused my post-graduate work on specialized training in speech sound disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs), and functional breathing.
A holistic approach guides my work, with a focus on the connection between speech, swallowing, breathing, and oral function. Understanding how these areas work together helps address the root causes of the challenges you or your child are facing. My goal is to help clients develop the foundational skills needed to communicate, breathe, and live with greater ease and confidence.
I believe in creating a supportive, collaborative therapy experience that is individualized to each client’s unique needs and goals. Whether working with children or adults, I strive to make therapy engaging, practical, and functional while building meaningful connections throughout the process.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new local restaurants, practicing yoga, taking long walks, and spending time with family and friends.
